Crop is way too tight though. <<Just because it isn't a "stair" image doesn't mean there have to be unnecessary cut offs of the stairwell on all sides. I've seen images that get across a "faith" concept without cutting off the stairs. It is possible, so stop making excuses.
<<The streaks from the long exposure are not really appealing and do not help the "faith" concept. >>
<<It's not that I didn't "get" your concept. you didn't execute your photo in a way that allowed your concept to come through on it's own. >>

I think you didn't get my point... it's not just a shot of some stairs...... and the crop being too tight..... just something to say it's wrong. Maybe should I get the whole building in the pic ? My idea was to get only the spiral stairway. and to be honest would have been impossible to get it wider, only if I could fly.....
but..."de gustibus non est disputandum".
Thanks for passing by and commenting to everyone. Nice words from you.

THIS IS REALLY CHEAP !!!
04/16/08 @414
Who could that be again???
04/16/08 @449
I liked you photo, I like the ghost people, the softness, the color, everything. My suggestion for next time is for you to get a pair of wings and maybe sing "R. Kelly" - I believe I can fly.....
Jokes apart, nice work.

From the point of being abstract - I like that but I wish I could see shot with a 17mm lens - if would have a differnt imapct as composition as whole.
Or if you shot lower towards the people , as the spiral lines lead me away from the people and more toward the over-view as a whole.

The ghostly figures in the image add intrigue and mystery. Who are they? Where are they going? The color and contrast is good and the composition i excellent despite what others claim. Stepping further out would have made the image unnecessarily busy.
